For over a decade, Craig Norton of Hands on Drumming had the idea to combine his passions for filmmaking and drumming and he has brought this inspiring project to life!
Thanks to his many connections to the international drumming community, Craig interviewed and shot some of the most unique applications and prominent drum circle leaders in action. He traveled throughout the US and Senegal, West Africa to document the heart of rhythm culture. We have been hosting special events that feature a screening of the film and then everyone gets to experience the excitement they witnessed in the film and play a drum.

The film won an Award of Excellence in the Impact Docs Awards and several other film festivals. You can now view Rhythms of Life streaming on Amazon Prime, Apple TV and Tubi. As a purely grassroots project, we can use your help to host screenings for your community. It's perfect for conferences, public libraries, universities and community wellness events.
